Tazo Passion Honey Tea

Hello Fellow Humans! So, I am guessing many of you like Starbucks.  Probably most of you.  So I have for you a knock-off recipe (not for coffee though in case your hopes were high for coffee... of course you probably already know what the drink is since it's in the title...), as well as a confession. I have not actually tried Starbuck's version of this drink, it is a recipe I found though, that's supposed to taste like a Starbuck's drink that we have have modified just a smudge. And I also know people who have tried both and say they like this recipe better! This is one of my favorite drinks ever,  it is so cool and refreshing; definitely a great summer drink. So her ya go! Tazo Passion Honey Tea.

Ingredients:

15 Tazo Passion Tea Bags
1 gallon, 8 cups, and 1 cup water
1/2 cup and 1 cup Honey
1 cup Lemon Juice
1 cup Brown Sugar

Instructions:

THE TEA:
Now this tea is comprised of three different components. The Tea, Honey Lemonade, and a Special Sweetener.  So the for the tea you simply brew one gallon of tea with boiling water and let steep for 6-8 hours. Now for the lemonade.

HONEY LEMONADE:
Warm the eight cups of water on your stove and add the 1/2 cup of honey. Once the honey is dissolved, take it off of the heat and add the 1 cup lemon juice and stir. Go ahead and put this into a pitcher and stick it into the fridge.

SWEETENER:
Boil the 1 cup of water honey and brown sugar on the stove. (You can use two cups of honey instead of one of honey and one of brown sugar, but we haven't been able to tell a taste difference and honey is 'spensive! Also, most any sweetener will work but you will want at least one cup of honey.) Once It's boiled and mixed, slowly simmer while stirring for about five minutes.  Go ahead and put into a container and refrigerate this too.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
Now, once everything is done and the tea is steeped, you can try and mix these all together into one big pitcher, but we have had bad luck with that, and it never seems to taste right. So what we do is keep all three in our fridge, and then mix together 1 cup of the tea, 1/2 cup of the honey lemonade, and 1/4 cup of the sweetener. You can change proportions to fit your taste, but that is what we like, and it's easy to remember because you start with on cup and keep dividing by two.

So tell me what you think of it. Did it turn out? Did you like as well or better then Starbucks? Let me know in the comments below. Have a great day, humans!
