Destiny:  a symbolic game that actually could affect you eternal future.

Destiny is a fast paced, first person shooter video game filled with many interesting places and a very cool storyline. Players can compete throughout the storyline in raids, player vs. player or different difficulties that arise. Participants can perform a variety of tasks solo style, or they team up with friends to throw down the enemies.

The basic storyline:  At the beginning of the game, players are found by "the ghost," which is specially designed to find them, help in their journey, and do things they cannot do, like open sealed doors and scan the area.  The ghosts can looks like

After the ghost explains objectives, story lines and such to the player, the player chooses his class, which is specially designed to do certain things.  Then player then moves on to working their way through the game learning their special abilities and earning better gear to aid them in their quests. Here is an example of it.http://youtu.be/9ZyQK6kUdWQ

In describing the game of Destiny, I cannot overlook the similarities I see and experience in a life lived for Jesus Christ. When Jesus lived as a man on earth, he brought life and hope to everyone he talked to. But after a time of preaching, teaching, and healing, the devil used evil people to get Jesus killed, which was all part of what had to happen in order for us to be saved.  When Jesus died and was raised from the dead, He sent the Holy Spirit to help us, to find us, and to give us advice that will honor Him and help direct our course.  The difference between the game of Destiny: "The Story of the Traveler,” and the accounts of Jesus is that Jesus defeated death, overcame the darkness, and will forever protect our eternal destinies if we give our life to him, his word and his plan for our lives on this earth.  When or if you play Destiny again, which you totally should, think about you how you eternal destiny could be affected by a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Thanks for considering, Fernando.
