Hey everyone, this is Franz and I'm here to show you a easy, fairly quick, epic hair style. We will be using three hair products (and a blow drier).  You can get get them at either Walmart or Target. You're hair will look messy on the top but clean and neat on the sides for the perfect mix. This Spa Saturday will transform your hair into crazy awesomeness. So lets get started!

 Before
 After

First, you will want to get your hair damp. Then you are going to take out Tresemme Tres Mousse, shake it up, and spray a little on your hand. Then you're going to spread it around in your hair until there are no blobs.

The next thing you will want to do is blow dry your hair up for about 30-60 seconds. Do not blow dry  the sides of your hair up or it will ruin the clean look on each side.
Next, use about a fingertips worth of American Clew Fiber and rub it around in your hands. After you have spread it around your hands, spread it around your hair. Make sure the line where your hair parts is neat.

Last but not least, spray the whole thing with sexy hair spray. Clean up the any littles hair that are refusing to go up or down and then your done!

Walk around with some swag because you look better than a model! Please subscribe if you liked this Spa Saturday! Comment if you have any questions and don't forget to give this post a big thumbs up!

For today's Tuesday Treat, I will show you a traditional Puerto Rican dish and I will give you the recipe below so that you can try it too!

Today I was looking around for a Puerto Rican dish to cook for lunch and I found a recipe online for red beans and rice. It was very good and quite easy.  The first thing to do is to put one tbsp. of oil, 1/2 cup of diced green or red pepper, and 1/2 cup of onion into your frying pan.  You might have to add some water to aid the vegetables so that they don't burn.  Then add 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tsp. cumin, chorizo sausage (optional), and 1/2 cup ham (optional).  Saute until the vegetables are tender.  Then you will add 19 oz. of kidney beans, 8 oz. tomato sauce, and 1 tsp Tabasco sauce.

Simmer like the picture above for 5 mins. and then add 2 cups of white rice, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 4 cups of water.

Bring to a boil. Once it reaches boiling point, turn down the heat and let it cook for about 20 mins. with the lid on or until the rice is soft and cooked. Then uncover and enjoy!

This recipe was from Food.com.

This has been Tuesday Treats with FutbolForever. Hope to see you guys next time.

Jamaican Coco Bread

Hi everyone! For today's Tuesday Treats I have something special for you. I'm going to Jamaica soon so I thought I'd share a classic recipe called Jamaican Coco Bread. Now you'd think it has some form of coconut in it. The name has coco in it, right? Wrong. It's called coco bread not because of the flavor, but because of the texture. It's harder on the outside and soft on the inside like a coconut. Traditionally it's cut in half and served with a Jamaican patty. It's like a type of sandwich. Or, you can just eat it plain or with butter. They are delicious any time of the day. Yum! This is making me hungry. Are you ready to learn this classic recipe mon? Haha, let's get cooking!

Here's what you'll need:

-3 1/2 cups of white flour
-2 packets of yeast (4 1/2 tsp.)
-1 tsp sugar
-1 tsp salt
-1 medium sized egg
-1/2 cup of melted butter
-1 cup warm milk
-1/4 cup warm water

Directions:

Step 1: Mix the yeast, sugar, and water together in a bowl. Then beat the egg and mix it in also.

Step 2: Mix in the milk and salt. Mix in 2 cups of the flour. Slowly add in the rest until the mixture is stiff.

Step 3: Sprinkle some flour on your counter top. Don't go crazy, just enough that it lightly covers a small area of your counter. Place the dough on the counter. ( Tip: to prevent the dough from sticking to your hands put a little flour on them.) Now kneed the dough until it becomes smooth. This should take about 10 minutes.

Step 4: Put the dough in a clean, buttered bowl. Roll it around until it is completely covered in butter. Cover the bowl with a damp towel and let it sit for an hour.

Step 5: Divide the dough into 10 pieces. Roll each piece into a circle about 1/2 a cm thick. Brush the circles in melted butter. Fold them in half (now you have a half circle) then in half again. (Now you have a triangle.)

Step 6: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Place your folded dough pieces on a well greased baking sheet. Place on the bottom rack of the oven and bake until golden brown. This should be about 15 minutes.

Step 7: Spread on butter and EAT!

Don't they look good? Yummm.  Please leave any questions or comments in the comment section below! Don't forget to look at all the other awesome posts while your here. Thanks for cooking with me today! - Brooke :)

Field Hockey

Don’t let the skirt fool you… Field hockey is a pretty intense and rough sport.  It’s got a 62% injury rate of a players sustaining three or more injuries during one season.  90% of those injuries are usually to the face and head and happen by getting hit with the ball or stick.
Don’t get me wrong, you shouldn't be afraid to play a sport you love; you should just be careful.  Oh, and don’t mess with female field hockey players or tell them that field hockey is easy.  The chances of you surviving that conversation without a bruise or two are very slim:)
So back to the description of field hockey for all you naive people who just clicked on this post and are like “Oh field hockey…..  must be the same as ice or street hockey.”
NOPE!
Number One:  Field hockey is not played on ice or pavement.  At the collegiate level
it is played on a surface called hydro turf.  This basically is a thin, bluish carpet infused with water and smells really bad. ( kinda like seaweed)  It’s often slippery and the ball moves extremely fast so  usually by the end of the game, you’re soaked with water and smell like a pond.  Fortunately,  hydro turf is uncommon in high school and the games are usually played on a grass or regular turf field.
Number Two:  We use a ball, not a puck.  Picture a golf ball.  Now blow it up to the size of a baseball and BAM you have a field hockey ball.  It’s usually white and pretty heavy and I would not recommend getting hit with one.  It hurts but also leaves a really awesome bruise that is basically a badge of honor that  you can show off to all those people who say field hockey is easy:)
Number Three: The field hockey stick is pretty unique in its shape and look.  The curved end is used for controlling the ball and occasionally hooking your opponent by the ankles when the referee is not looking.  There are no left handed sticks in field hockey for safety reasons, so I’m terribly sorry for all you left handed people in the world that play field hockey.
Even though it is illegal, this still does not stop players and I’ll admit, myself sometimes, from using our sticks for things other than hitting the ball.  If you’re one on one with a player it’s quite easy to hook your stick with the other players’ and give a gentle and subtle tug.  Usually they do a face plant and you get the ball.  Its not a nice thing to do, especially when you’re on the receiving end but often part of the game.

Number Four: Yes, we wear skirts.  It’s just part of the uniform and every field hockey player has to suffer through it.  The things you love often hurt you the most:)  Field hockey mainly originated from Scotland and before the uniform was… modified, the skirts were plaid, and very ugly.
Now everyone calls them skirts but really they’re supposed to be called kilts.  But nobody says that because it just sounds weird.
Number Five: The positions in field hockey are pretty different from ice hockey and street hockey.  There are three field positions, forward, midfield, defense, and then a goalie.  Forwards are the main offense and score the most goals.  Midfielders play defense AND offense, usually running the length of the field several times during a game.  Defense works to keep the other team from scoring and the goalie does what goalies do.  They throw themselves in front of flying objects and take the hits for the team.  You should always be friends with your goalie.

Number Six:  It’s year round.  The official outdoor season of field hockey is in the fall.  But for the rest of the year we play indoor which is completely different than outdoor and has a whole lot more rules.  I’m not going to sit here and tell them all to you because that would take a very long time.  Most players do tend to play both outdoor with their school team and then switch to a club team for indoor.
So in a nutshell, that’s field hockey!  It’s an amazing sport and super fun to play.  If you have the guts to be able to sprint two miles in a game, take the hits while chasing an over-sized golf ball with a stick, then come join in the fun!

Converse Nails

Looking for a fun nail design, but having trouble finding one that's cute and easy at the same time? Water marble not working out for you?Well never fear, Diana Rush is here! Think of how your friends will react when they see your nails looking like this:
Step 1: Paint your nails all white, as if you just wanted to keep them white (but we both know you have greater plans.)
Step 2: With a black nail pen or a toothpick dipped in black nail polish, draw a line across the part of your nail where it starts to curve in.
Step 3: Paint the bottom part black, but keep the top part white.
Step 4: With a black nail pen or a toothpick dipped in black nail polish, draw a line outlining the white part of your converse.
Step 5: With a white nail pen or a toothpick dipped in white nail polish, draw two horizontal lines in the black part of your converse, about 1/4 inch apart.
